I get this question all the time, so I thought it might be helpful to share a little insight. Lingerie might be the obvious answer but the first and most important
thing is that you bring things that you feel good in. If you’re
uncomfortable or feeling self conscious about how a certain item might
fit then that will likely show in your final images. That being said,
you’ll likely be in your underwear — in front of a stranger (me) — and
in front of a camera. It is perfectly normal to feel self conscious or
nervous about that. It’s my job to get you to a place where you don’t
even realize that you’re in your underwear and to make sure you’re
having a good time.
I find that corsets are the most flattering on every body type and
are also very versatile. There are a lot of poses that I can put you
into when you’re wearing a corset as opposed to a bra & underwear
set. I have found that they can be hard to find in Saskatoon, but Victoria’s Secret has a nice collection as well as a few other websites I’ve found.
Think Colour!! Colour is fun and sexy and lets you show off a
little more of your personality. Black is great too and goes with
everything so by all means, if you love black, work it!
Shoes are SO important! They add an extra polish to the set and I
believe they are the perfect finishing touch to your outfit, no matter
what you decide to wear. I may also be a touch biased here because I am
a shoe-aholic. I recommend shoes that have a nice heel on them, even
if you can’t walk in them — you won’t need to! Other accessories you
might want to consider are leggings, scarves and of course, jewelery.
If you’re still stuck or you’re not so sure about the whole lingerie thing, there are still options for your wardrobe.
Swim suits work great, one piece or two:
